Marylynn Marylynn Burrows

Growing up in a sedentary and obese family, Marylynn knows all too well how comfortable that couch can be.  Calling it the “slug mode.” Seeing the consequences that lifestyle brought by way of a variety of diseases, health problems, and a decreased quality of life, she was moved to dedicate her life to helping people find their happiest, healthiest selves.

For over 15 years Marylynn has been in the health and fitness industry learning, teaching, and successfully helping a variety of people, from youth to seniors, the overweight to athletes. With her experience and expertise, she can help you reach your health and fitness goals. Her certifications include: Institute for Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, AFAA Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Exercise Instructor, AFAA Kickboxing Instructor, ACE Group Exercise Instructor, TRX Suspension Trainer, TRX RIP Trainer, R.I.P.P.E.D., TDF HIIT IT, U-Jam, Cycling, Yoga, and more.

There is no-one-size fits all solution. Everyone is different. Working together, Marylynn will explore the possibilities to create the best program for you!

Serenity Fitness, Abigail Bacon, Fitness TrainerAbigail Bacon

Abigail Bacon is a relative newcomer to the fitness community. Arriving in Salt Lake City in the summer of 2009, she set about “getting in shape” in time for her July 2010 wedding. Little did she know that a few personal training sessions would open the gateway to her fitness journey.

A gradual increase in activity and modification of diet helped Abby to transform her lifestyle and her body. In 2011, Abby earned her Primary Group Fitness Certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), as well as her RIPPED certification. Since then, Abby has taught kickboxing, strength training, and high intensity interval training (HIIT) group fitness classes, along with her favorite – RIPPED! Abby is excited to be teaching RIPPED classes at Serenity Fitness on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings.

She believes every workout should be the best workout for your body, and she is committed to making that goal a reality through encouragement, modification, and motivation. She believes that we can all live healthier, happier lives!

When not teaching fitness classes, Abby is an elementary school Spanish teacher. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Denison University and a master’s degree in Spanish literature and linguistics from Miami University. In her free time, she loves playing with her husband and their toddler daughter in the great outdoors: walking and hiking, skiing and snowshoeing, and camping. She also loves cooking and baking treats. Abby looks forward to working out with you soon, and helping you along your own fitness journey!
